Infamous: First Light
Sony has revealed which games PlayStation Plus members will receive for free in January 2015.

The marquee title is Infamous: First Light for PS4. In case you missed it, it's a great standalone prequel to Infamous: Second Son that shines light on the excellent, neon-powered character, Fetch.

Resident Evil Remastered Review
A CLASSIC NEVER DIES
As I creep though the familiar-yet-eerie corridors of Resident Evil, I can't help but feel terrified of Crimson Heads. Even 12 years after I first encountered them, it's genuinely frightening every time they spring back to life to try to tear a hole in my esophagus, but they're also a great example of why Resident Evil still holds up. While inconsistent art and persistent clipping problems give away that this is an update of a 1996 survival-horror game, the scares, puzzles, and atmosphere of the creepy corridors of Spencer Mansion are as potent as ever.

BELOW: Most Anticipated Game of 2015
If The Legend of Zelda had a child with Dark souls, I think Below would be its name, with Don’t Starve as its older brother. Between its first mention at E3-2013, to a small play through available at Pax East, Below has become a highly anticipated game for most, and an agonizing concept for others. Capybara Games revealed their ‘roguelike’ adventure as a top down perspective dungeon crawler based on survival and exploration. It has been stressed that this game will not be easy, yet it seems it’s just as hard to develop as the game itself.

We just finished a heavily scripted, carefully managed, and completely amazing demonstration of Microsoft's HoloLens technology. Four demos, actually, each designed to show off a different use case for a headset that projects holograms into real space. We played Minecraft on a coffee table. We had somebody chart out how to fix a light switch right on top of the very thing we were fixing. ...We walked on Mars.

Telltale Games' Game of Thrones: 'Iron from Ice'
Review: For the Trees
A Song of Ice and Fire, the book series that spawned the Game of Thrones television show, is a story of a few powerful men and women fighting for control in a world where human life is just another currency. Telltale Games' latest episodic adventure is set in the world of Game of Thrones, and the first episode, "Iron from Ice," attempts to show the player just how desperate life can be for individuals who don't stand at the top of the most powerful houses.

I played Attila: Total War for a few hours and became a war-mongering Dark Age tyrant
Once my time machine is properly operational, you and I are going to jump in and take a little trip.

We'll go see a few medieval kings and ask them a simple question, one that they probably haven't heard before: Why the hell can't you guys just chill out and relax and stop invading each other?

Like, they own a massive chunk of Europe. They get to enjoy the obeisance of nobles and courtiers, can turn their power to building great churches, formulating the basis of law and order, dabbling in the pleasures of prancing courtesans.

Warcraft Movie 2016 – Posters, Cast & Character Details

Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) is the man at the helm of the big screen adaptation of the World of Warcraft video game. Will this be the best video game to film adaptation ever? Hopefully and Jones has put together a great cast.

You can see the characters and who will be playing them below.

I have to be honest and say I only know the basics of the game so I am just hoping for a great fantasy movie. For those of you out there who play WoW, what are your thoughts on the character descriptions?

Review: Inspiring, Complex ‘Elite: Dangerous’ Sometimes Wobbles but Often Soars

Elite: Dangerous is a direct descendant of the groundbreaking 1984 space simulation Elite, which geriatric folks who once owned a Commodore 64, an Atari 800, or (in the UK) a BBC Micro may fondly remember. Co-created by David Braben, Elite accomplished more than primitive wireframe graphics and 8-bit processors had any right to do, rendering a vast 3D galaxy in which to trade, pirate, and bounty-hunt your way to fame and glory. Elite not only took space gaming to a whole new level — it also arguably invented the open-world genre, a feat for which we named it one of the 10 most influential games of the 1980s.

Play Over 2,400 MS-DOS Games in Your Browser for Free
Duke Nukem 3D, Sim City, Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, and so much more.
You can now play over 2,400 MS-DOS games in your browser for free thanks to the Internet Archive, a San Francisco-based nonprofit that collects web pages, text, audio and other information that exists in digital formats.

Duke Nukem 3D, Sim City, Commander Keen, and Wolfenstein 3D are just a fraction of the great, though admittedly ancient games you'll find at the Internet Archive's MS-DOS Games Library.

They all make use of DOSBox, a program that emulates the older computer hardware and software you need to run MS-DOS games. This week, programmer and Internet Archive Software Curator Jason Scott announced that he's made them available to play online.
